The Hobbit is just one book in a fantastic series of fictional stories. It is about a hobbit who doesn't want any part in adventure, but gets dragged into it anyway. He plays a game of riddles with a very mysterious creature, takes part in slaying a dragon, and rescues his dwarf friends from giant spiders! This is one of my favorite books, and would recommend it for sixth graders all the way up to adults.
